I'm trying to use a joystick/throttle combo (Saitek X45) to play the game. I have no problem calibrating it in Kubuntu 9.04, but when I start the game, the view runs up and to the right as if I'm giving it a joystick input of Dive Left or trying to point towards the bottom left of the screen.

This is a constant condition no matter what inputs I provide from the joystick or throttle. I know the joystick does have control from the control menu because the trigger button does fire the weapon when commanded to do so.

How can get stable control using my X45?
